Happy HomeMaker Monday 6/28/14 Edition

It is Monday once again and I have failed to post throughout last week. But that is okay. I will make up for it...Or will I? 

Today I am joining in over at Diary Of A Stay at Home Mom for the Happy Homemaker Monday post: 

Breakfast time: Well I am not pointing fingers but someone was not up in time for any breakfast activities. My breakfast is Pepsi. The older boys can fend for themselves and the little one had pop-tarts. He could not wait to get those in his hands yesterday when we went to the grocery store. 

On Todays To Do List: Participate in Logans ABA therapy, gets some blogging done and maybe jump in the pool for a bit. 

The weather outside: HOT HOT HOT!! I live in Arkansas so its HOT--To be fair my weatherbug says it is only 83 outside at the moment and it is noon thirty. We are expecting it to hit 90. Arkansas summers are usually unbearable but this summer has been kind of mild. 

On the Menu this week: Am I a slacker because I do not like to cook? My Mr. Sexy(found this label on another bloggers post so I am stealing it) does most of the cooking. I like to cook in the winter..I am a crock pot addict. Anyway I know we are having stuffed pepper tonight and then Beans from my parents garden Tuesday night. Wednesday I am thinking we might go out to eat somewhere. We hardly ever do that. It would be a nice change. The rest of the week we have NO idea. We need to go grocery shopping by then. 

If I have a few minutes to myself I will: Blog of course or do some crocheting. I had been working on a blanket for the baby that we were expecting but since the miscarriage I have not picked it back up. I think I will work on it this week. It will be Logans blanket if he wants it. He carries one around with him everywhere he goes anyway so maybe he would choose this one to carry. 

In the garden: Tomatoes are still not ripening on our vines and my cucumbers look pitiful. I just dont think we have the right dirt here for it. But on the other end, my parents garden...Its abundant in produce.

Logan dove into this ice cream on Saturday. He has never ever even had an interest in ice cream before!! We were so proud of him. Whether he does this again we shall see!!

Happy Home-Maker Monday 6/23/14

This weekend marked the official beginning of Summer. So far this summer has actually been mild for Arkansas in June. It is usually so hot its unbearable but we have barely even seen 90 degree temps. We spent all weekend in the pool! What a way to celebrate the beginning of summer. Even though I had no idea it was the official start until I seen another bloggers post about it. Thank you for the reminder.

Now onto it we go! 
As I look outside my window I do not see much lol. I am actually sitting in my bedroom and the window is blacked out. But I have been outside today and it is an overcast day and the weather is calling for a slight chance of rain. 
Right now I am typing up this post(that is a given) eating on some Vienna Sausages and cheddar cheese. I am not really hungry I just have to make sure that I do eat. After all I am now carrying precious cargo! I am also chatting on facebook and venting about my problem causing mother in law. Or might as well be my mother in law. She is not legally. 
Thinking and Pondering on whether or not I should write a letter to someone who needs to hear a few things. I do not know if it would make it worse or better or just be ignored. I guess it is worth a try. 
On my bedside table is my pepsi, the only one of the day. 
On my t.v. this week is nothing really I guess. Eric(my s/o) always has control over the t.v. so its always Big Bang Theory on every night at 6. After that its left up in the air. I know last night he watched Halt and Catch Fire. I think Wednesday is Duck Dynasty. I am also busy with my son in therapy until around 7:30 every night. Not much t.v. watching for me. 
I am listening to my kids friend. He has been here since Saturday and I do not think the boy shuts up...Ever!
On the menu for this week, hamburger and chicken. What goes along with we are yet to figure that one out. 
On my to do list..I have an appointment Friday, clean house, laundry..The normal I guess. I need to find a project to work on. Maybe concentrate on my blog and stuff like I said I would do a couple of weeks ago and have failed. 
Happening this week is an ultrasound of the baby Friday to make sure everything is on track. I will be a little over 6 weeks. I am hoping for good news.
I am creating nothing so far besides a life.
Looking around the house I see boys on the x-box..Thats it. My dogs are hiding in the bedroom with me lol. Got to love my girls. The only ones in the house besides myself.

A Rainy Happy Homemaker Monday

It is the beginning of a new week and hope all my readers had a fabulous weekend. Our weekend was pretty plane and boring due to the fact of the rain, rain and oh, MORE RAIN! I am ready for some sunshine and drying out time. My yard is a swamp and my drive is a mud pit. Its just nasty out there. 

Anyways I am joining up with Diary of A Stay at Home Mom for Happy Homemaker Monday. Feel free to browse and join in as well. As always new followers and sweet comments are welcome. 

As I look outside my window:
Well right now there is not any rain but it gloomy and cloudy. Enough to disgust you. 

Right now I am:
Trying to make amends where they need to be and not hold grudges against others. Life it to short to stay mad all the time or to let that idiotic person get on my last nerves. 

Thinking and pondering:
Trying to come up with creative ways to avoid meltdowns when its time for Logan to give up his IPAD. I have been setting a timer and he can see it and when time is up its "my turn". The first time worked well. He got mad but handed it right to me then ran off to his room to have a fit for 5 minutes then came out to play. The second time he tried to put more time on the timer when I showed him he only had 15 minutes left. Then when it was "my turn" he went into a total tantrum. RIGHT NOW daddy is playing ball with him and working on signing for "ball"

On my t.v. this week:
Since it is the summer its all re-runs so we have no t.v. schedule set up. Every night at 6 we watch an hour of Big Bang Theory and maybe the news. That is the only thing set in stone at the moment. The Walking Dead can not be here soon enough. 

Listening to:
The news is on t.v. and they are saying something about higher milk prices. Tell me about it! We need a cow in our backyard. $4.50 for a gallon of milk. Just ridiculous.

On the menu:
HAHA I do not really plan out our meals. I am not the cook anyways. One thing I know I do want this week is a good pot roast. That will come Thursday, maybe.

On my to do list:
Tons of things!! Mainly this week I want to focus on my blog for once. I want to look into more ways to get it out there and noticed as well as trying to figure out these html codes. I need some more gadgets and stuff. If I can stay concentrated on it this week. I am hoping but I do get distracted easily. 

Happening this week:
Logans ABA therapy starts all over this week. His consultant had everything totally messed up. We are starting fresh and I am so excited to see what new things are going to happen and how it will happen. 

What I am creating:
I think this goes along with on my to do list. Refer to that :-)

My simple pleasure:
I love eating in bed watching t.v. I have not been able to do that in awhile. 

Looking around the house:
Dogs are playing, kid is crying, older kid on the computer and my house is pretty darn clean if I say so myself :-)

Happy Homemake Monday--August 20th 2013

This Monday was the start of a new school year for the kiddos. I guess its not a huge deal around here considering my Logan goes year round and our 15 year old that lives with us started today. So far it has been quiet. Nothing to special or out of the ordinary. Just one of the first days I have actually had a morning to myself. Just me.

Anyway on to it

The Weather: We are still having an unseasonably cool August Summer. Yesterday it barely made 80 and today we are looking at 77 at the moment. This brings me to something I seen on some classified ads. It was a pool that was for sale and it stated "Do not use it as much as I thought" well no crap, we have barely had a summer, of course you have not used it much. I myself have missed my pool. I have not been in it in over two weeks. I could have gotten that tattoo I wanted :-)

Right Now I Am: Sitting in silence typing up this post. Well besides all the noises I can hear outside. Sometimes I do enjoy the silence. No t.v.!! I can concentrate and think much better this way.

On My Reading Pile: Nothing. I am not into novels but I can tell you what tabs are open on my pc as of right now. Blogger dashboard, Diary of A Stay At Home Mom, and season 3 episode 6 of the walking dead just begging to be watched.

On My T.V.: As stated above, nothing, nadda, zip, zilch. Just a black screen

On The Menu For This Week:
Chicken and more Chicken, my honey has some recipe he is going to do that he swears is really good called Mayo Chicken. Sounds kind of gross to me but I will give it a shot. I also have him talked into trying this recipe I found called spinach and pepperjack chicken. You can find the recipe HERE but I have asked him to take out the cajun seasoning and add something else. I am not a fan of spicy. Neither is my body

On My To Do List: Oh I am not so sure. Get organized some more :-) I am some what OCD when it comes to certain things and tomorrow I have a conference with Logans school so I am sure I will have more paperwork to organize considering I want copies of everything such as evaluations and his IEP

In My Craft Basket: Embroidery Floss as always. I am steadily working on all these friendship bracelets that I hope to sell for purposes of donating the money to Logans school and other local programs that help children with special needs. Looking Around The House: Ugh did I really have to do that? Pile of laundry that needs to be folded and put away sitting on the recliner. I despise laundry and want to avoid it like the plague. Then I see my girls (dogs, missy, Zuri and Lola) just being lazy mutts and resting. 

From The Camera: I thought it would be fun to post the very last picture I took or saved from my phone. I have not had the Nikon out lately. Just use my phone constantly.

Happy Homemaker Monday/Last Day To Enter Giveaway

Another Monday. I have been neglecting my blog for the last week but I will get to that in another post as to why. It is for a good reason. Good thing I dont have a lot going on in my blogging world to have to play catch up. 

The Weather... Right now it is a nice 82 degrees here in Arkansas. Very Very unusual for July! Last year we were above 100. Makes me wonder what the winter will bring. Going my history and patterns it will or can be I should say, a bad winter. 

Right Now I Am...Sitting in my spot on my couch and have a dogs paw stuck in my upper back. My dog Missy (chihuahua) likes to sit on top of the couch directly behind me. 

On My Reading Pile...I am not much of one to read. I do read a lot of internet articles so the tabs open on my computer are some tutorials on some bracelets I am putting together. 

On My T.V...Right now, Borderlands 2 is being played. The oldest boy claims he has not gotten to play the xbox 360 much on his own lately so he wanted to play while his dad is at work and before he takes it over.

What I found While Surfing The Net...As I mentioned above I am searching for tutorials on bracelets and came across this awesome site with over 26,000 patterns for bracelets. The site is friendship-bracelets.net
