Friday Hops and Flowers

I have impatiently waiting for some nice beautiful flowers to bloom but it seems we are behind compared to some other so I am limited on what has bloomed around here. 

Tomorrow we are taking the kids to the zoo for a family day. Maybe I can get some pictures of some pretty blooms then. Most of the pictures that I post on my blog are straight out of the camera with no editing done.

"I have been blogging since 2011. I started it just blogging because I wanted an outlet to rant and rave about anything and everything. I do not blog just about one thing. I have numerous subjects plus I like to participate in blog hops. I also try to get as much information about Autism as I can. I have an almost 3 year old (5 days away) autistic son. He is in the moderate to severe range. My family is blended. I am not married but live with whom I believe is my soul-mate. It took many mistakes and years to find him but I finally have. He has 3 boys of his own and I have two other girls of my own. Together we have 6 children. 4 boys and 2 girls. 3 whom of which are teenagers. Basically I am just on this crazy train called life and trying to survive and I like to blog about it :-)"

Bloglovin' Issue? No Meltdowns At the Display

One of the hardest things I have discovered about blogging is not the writing one or coming up with a subject (there are plenty of hops out there that help with this) but its the coming up with a title. So I do apologize if my titles are somewhat cheesy but I just try to give it a small summary on the subject.

Anyway I have started using bloglovin' a lot more lately but have realized that my blogs are not being updated there? I have searched the FAQ page and can not find a solution. My RSS feed is valid so I have no idea. I emailed customer support days ago and still have heard nothing. Anyone else experiencing any of these issues or know what to do about it?

Our Fourth of July was a pretty good day. Started out normal and slow but that is the way a mother likes it. Most of the time. My SO (significant other) and I got into the pool for awhile and it was nice to play around and relax in there just him and I. It was to cold to bring out Logan. 

We all ate dinner then went off to a fireworks display. Logan enjoyed his time at the park but he was not a fan of the fireworks. 

I had to keep his eyes covered the entire time or he got upset. On the brightside, no meltdowns. I don't know why he could not watch them or why they appeared scary to him. He may be to sensitive to those sort of lights?? I have no idea.  Any answers to the parents with autistic children??

Logans First Haircut

Logan got his first haircut! He looks like a totally different boy! He is so handsome and his big beautiful blue eyes pop even more. These are some pictures from my phone I will be posting better ones at a later time. 

He did great as long as he was eating a cookie and watching the bubble guppies.

Bird Frenzy

So I went to Clarksville to pick up my oldest daughter for the summer and afterwards I decided to visit my mother. She lives 2 hours away from me so I try to get there as often as I can. We sat outside most of the visit and of course I brought along my camera and the birds were going nuts. Especially the little hummingbirds. There was one certain ruby red throated one that would run all the others off if they even came close the feeders. I did my best at capturing some pictures but unfortunately the lighting was not very well. 

Not my best job ever but hey. 

Not only was there these fussy little hummingbirds but there were some beautiful Yellow Finches. Feel free to tell me exactly what these birds are called.

On the way home we seen the most beautiful sunset that I have seen in a very long long time

 The further we went the pinker the sky was.

When we got home my oldest caught a lizard. Then she was outside looking for some crickets under wood to feed this thing and this is what she ran across

I'm hoping to see some baby lizards in a couple months, maybe if they make it.
