Wordless Wednesday

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

YUM YUM DUM DUMS!

Tuesday 10--Reinvented

It is 2:00 a.m. so technically it is Wordless Wednesday but since I am getting a late start I am going to do the Tuesday 10. To me today is still Tuesday. This weeks list was supposed to be ten beauty products I could not live without. HAHAHA!!! Beauty products?? What in the world is that? I am not really that girly girly so beauty products in my cabinets or drawers are just the basic makeup stuff. Nothing special. I have no special facial cleaners or make up removers or anything special for my hair. I use soap and water to wash my face and use any shampoo that is in my shower.
So since this weeks Tuesday 10 is very female related I decided to think of my own Tuesday 10 that is also female related. Now what female has not went through a break-up and needed some music to listen to? I know all the times I went through one, music helped me get through it, to move on and realize I was better off. Yes we all go through this. I don't know how many of my readers are single or trying to move on but I do know a few are, and that is another reason I decided to do this post. After spending some considerable time this evening talking to a friend who is going through a break up and heartache this list was easy to make. Add these songs to your playlist and when you feel the need for empowerment and encouragement to move on these songs will help! At least I hope they will.
I have posted videos so you can take a look without having to search. Yes I like to make things easy. Some things in life should be right?

I do not claim any rights to any of these songs!

Scavenger Hunt Sunday Edition : 4/22 - 4/28

It is Sunday so therefore it is time again for the Scavenger Hunt. This is one of my favorite blog themes and thanks to Ashley over at Ramblings and Photos for hosting! All my readers should also check out her blog. She has wonderful tips on Photography if your interested.

Now onto my scavenger hunt findings :-) This week was tough, for most of them I could not find just one photo. The theme for this hunt is:
Yellow
Makes You Smile
Ancient/Antique
Splash
In The Sun

YELLOW

Our Family shoot. As you can tell our scheme was Yellow. Thank you to MA photography.

MAKES YOU SMILE

All four of my kids being together!

A mother caring for her young.

ANCIENT/ANTIQUE

This is an old chicken house next to my parent's property. I grew up with this chicken house/barn, that's the only way I know how to put it.

Just an old bridge where we took the kids out swimming. This is located somewhere around Rudy Arkansas.

SPLASH

The Ocean Waves in Miami Florida. I enjoyed that vacation.

Ooops, Race makes a splash when he fell.

IN THE SUN

Another picture from Miami Florida. As you can see the sun dancing on the water.

One of my favorites, the sun rays over Lake Wedington as the sun sets.

There you have my Sunday Scavenger Hunt. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and have a great week ahead!

New Obsession

I downloaded this as soon as it was available on Android! I have spent lots of time using and playing with this app and I absolutely love it.

Last night I discovered the photo grid app on android

This app plus the Instagram app has become my new obsession. I spent many hours just playing around with both of them last night. Here are some of my results

Yup I love both these apps and I am sure you will see lots more photos using the Instagram app and the photo grid. I even have a tab for just my Instagram photos.

I am not affiliated with Instagram or photo grid in any way!

So It's Friday, What Are You Up To?

Yes it is Friday, and most people are totally excited about it but myself being a stay at home mom its another day. Seems like a beautiful weekend is coming our way. Today it was gloomy, rainy and cold. It was very nice sleeping weather.
I realize today was 4/20,
but our Water Company was closed and we did not receive any mail?? No idea why the water place was closed and maybe I just did not receive any mail. Am I missing something? Anyways like I said earlier, it was just another day for us in our household. No celebrating this stoners holiday or whatever holiday it may be for our water department to be closed. I am not against the smoking of marijuana or anything but I have seen this photo posted all over my facebook news feed and find it funny in a lol sorta way.
Good luck to all of you who celebrated today :-)
Yesterday was pretty much as boring as today has been. My husband spent most of his time working on the computers. Trying to get Linux installed on one of the laptops, making space on the other one, re-installing Photoshop on one of the computers so I can step up my game on picture editing. Looks like I will be taking some courses on line on how to use Photoshop. At least the basics at least. I am wanting to really get into my photographing hobby, of course I always want to get into something. I always start then never finish. I always seem to lose track and start on something else that I don't finish. Its a nasty pattern to be into.
We did spend a little bit of time outside yesterday in the late evening. Logan really seemed to enjoy it. Even though he tried to eat everything he sees. He has to try everything.
Mean Mugging
Big Yawn
Smile Baby Boy
Big Smiles

You can definitely tell Spring is here. There are caterpillars everywhere you step, turn and look.

For the dinner (thanks to the husband) we had beans and potatoes, but as us southern gals like to say, fried taters. Logan was eating them just fine at first then he decided he did not want a thing to do with it.

Hopefully he enjoys tonights dinner better, once again thanks to the old man. He likes to cook. Thank goodness because honestly I do not for the most part. I get into my moods but mostly I am not a cooker.

Everyone enjoy your Friday night and if you feel like doing some blog hops this weekend click on the image below and have a wonderful weekend and happy hopping.

Tuesday 10--Embarrassing Movies

Here we are, Tuesday is upon us again and it is time for the Tuesday 10 list. This week is featuring embarrassing movies that I hate to admit that I like. Well some of them I do not mind so much letting others know that I like them. Okay all of them I don't mind if people know. My husband is sometimes blown away that I like some of these movies on my list. My usual type of movies I like are action, sci -fi violent movies. I am not one of chick flicks or spoofs but I do like a good comedy.
So here we go with my list of the 10 embarrassing movies on my end.
"Have you ever wondered if there was more to life, other than being really, really, ridiculously good looking? "

"Heck yes! I'd vote for you" This is a slow going one but most memorable for his dance he does. I love this movie.
"I say hurl. If you blow chunks and she comes back, she's yours. But if you spew and she bolts, then it was never meant to be. " Does this movie show my age??  Who doesnt like this one. To me it is a true classic!
"Excuse me, Phil, but with these particular symptoms, is Prozac the right choice? " I remember going to the theatre to see this one. My mom hated it and my dad fell asleep. I still like it
"Ladies, Ladies, Ladies, Jay and Silent Bob are in the hizzouse! " Yes this is filled with bad language and just Jay being a douche, but hey I had a crush on this guy when I was younger.
"I believe our adventure through time has taken a most serious turn"  Another Classic

"If you're gonna talk the talk, you gotta walk the walk. Otherwise you'll be lined in chalk."  This is what every geek in highschool wants to happen.

"There's a lot of glare coming off that dome of yours, squirrel nuts! " Crazy movie but I absolutely love this one. Oliver Platt is one of my favorite actors! This is a much watch for everyone. I remember watching this one night with the ex husband and he ended up dreaming about this movie and I got headbutted in my sleep. So word of caution..Do not watch right before sleep.

Prom Time

This past weekend was prom weekend for my niece. I live 2 hours away from her so I barely ever get to see her or the rest of my family such as my sister and the rest of her kids. The last time I was saw them I was pregnant with Logan. Logan is now 14mths old. Thank goodness for facebook or we would never talk. Well my niece sent me a message two weeks prior asking me if I could come for the prom. I did what I could and I made it down there for her prom and took some great pictures.
My night did not end there. I ended up going to my mothers after we ate pizza and seeing my niece and her boyfriend off to prom. I visited with momma for a few hours then went to visit some really good friends of mine that I hardly ever get to see. I grew up with these girls and its always good to be able to still call them my best friends. It was a long but good Saturday for me. I ended up getting home by 5 a.m. and Logan and I slept most of the day Sunday. Of course I cant leave this blog without some prom pictures!!
