Blowing Bubbles with Thomas the Train

While shopping at wal-mart last night I ran across the clearance aisles! Who does not love these aisles? Anyways I found some bubbles. My son is in a bubble stage and we use them often in his ABA therapy for positive re-enforcement. He loves them.

Another good thing about this is he loves Thomas the Train. They had others such as spider man and Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
Thomas is a whistle as well. You pour some bubbles in the blue track little pot thing, then dip Thomas' chimney into the bubbles and blow. The bubbles come out and the whistle blows. He loved it!

I just wish we could teach him how to blow bubbles on his own. Any suggestions?

Late Bus and Thomas The Train

The last couple of days have been pretty un-eventful, which is the way I like it! Tuesday morning Logans bus to school was late. They are supposed to let us know if they are to be more than 20 minutes but of course we did not get that call and Logan and Eric were getting very impatient.

So Eric asks the person on the bus, not the driver but the one who buckles all the kids in if she could call us...Her short snappy answer, no, I dont have service on my phone. What??? What sense does this make?
So we call the director and get the response "I will have a talk with them".
Almost 20 minutes late today as well with no call. I guess I will just make it the new time he will get picked up from now on. I do not want to cause a fuss over 20-30 minutes. Now if I can convince Eric the same we will be good.

Today was wal-mart day and it is Logans favorite place to be. Now one of Logans obsessions is Thomas the Train. He loves him. I have been seeing the pillow pals for sale at $25 but have been eyeing them over the last couple of weeks and the price dropped to $10. I had to get it before there were no more.

I think he approved. I could tell by his smile and his happy yelling!

Wordless Wednesday (kinda)

It is time for the Wordless Wednesday submission. I captured something just hilarious (to me) today while shopping at wal-mart. Not great quality, it is from my phone.

Oh yeah that is right! Not a joke.

Family Fun Friday!

I am sorry if this text is small but I have noticed all of my editing options are gone?? I have no idea what is up with this. I guess I have missed something or just being a total airhead. I am pretty good at that one. Anyways, the husband and I decided to take the kids out to the local art museum, Crystal Bridges Museum. Always free of admission because of Wal-Mart. I was not totally impressed with the exhibits (I did like some of them) but the building itself is amazing. We kind of had to rush through because it was boring for my youngest son. All the following pictures are taken by phone, so therefore not the best of quality that they could be.
The Kids and I before we enter

Now on to some exhibits

After the museum we took the kids to Fast Lane which is a lot like Chucky Cheese but some what cheaper and a lot better! Race hit the jackpot on one of the games but my oldest came out with the most tickets. They enjoyed themselves. Its not often they get to do things like this so we try to do it at least once a year.

Hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend! I have to take my kids back after Sunday so it will be Logan, Justin and I. :-(

Concert, Did You Say??

My husband works for Wal-Mart. He actually works at the David Glass Technology Center which is part of Wal-Mart home office.  This week has been a huge event for Wal-Mart. The shareholders meeting has been in full force. One of the perks of these meetings are the free concerts. Usually the general public is allowed in. This year they decided to go about it a different way. Instead a mass e-mail went out to ALL the employees and gave instructions on how to obtain tickets for the event through ticketmaster. No general public was allowed.
My husband followed the directions and got our tickets the minute they went up for grabs. This year the concert Tuesday night, Carrie Underwood and Chris Young and then on Wednesday night was Cheap Trick and Aerosmith!
I was happy and tickled my husband got tickets to Wednesday night. I have always been a huge huge fan of Aerosmith ever since I could remember and even had tons of their CDs as a teenager.
My mother-in-law came down from Springfield MO and stayed the night to babysit the kids so my husband and I could go to the concert. (thank goodness for her)
We had a blast and the place was packed! Not an empty seat in the place. I am so happy that I get to mark something off my bucketlist! I am so in love with Steven Tyler. Now I had heard of Cheap Trick but could not recall their music. When we got to the concert and they played their stuff I knew exactly who they were. After the concert we went and ate at Denny's. We had a great outing together.
On our way to the concert!

Us After the concert.

Okay anyways I get up this afternoon and look at facebook and this is what I find. This here is a comment left on my facebook status that I posted saying

Only a few more hours until Aerosmith
I wanna know how the Hell you got tickets when you don't work there and neither does your husband. that was
suppose to be for shareholders only. NOBODY was able to get tickets but you. funny how that Shit worked out.

My Reply

April my husband does work for wal mart!
You might want to know the facts before you go posting comments like that

Her Reply

I just think it's funny how you were the only one able to get tickets. don't tell me about knowing facts. here's a fact for you. did you know that somehow this "zone" was listed as a foreign country and that's apparently why nobody else could get tickets?
Anyway, glad you had Fuckloads of fun because nobody but you and Justin were able to.

I can not get over how someone could be

Jealous over a concert. You

Know I can not help but roll my eyes

at people like this. I grew up with this

person. I am sorry for the language

but that is exactly how she put it. Copy

and paste!! Hope all of you enjoy your

Friday. I have a photo shoot at noon!
