Laundry Blues

It is Monday! Well on my time it is two hours from Monday but still. Today is one of the days where I link up with some wonderful blog hops and have a chance to discover new blogs as well as hope that others will follow me and enjoy my blogs.
This weekend has been pretty bland! It is to hot to do anything, and to me even to hot to swim. Of course its not my favorite thing to do anyways considering I am a 31 year old woman who can not swim to even save my own life! So that leaves plenty of time to clean house right?  HA HA yeah okay! The last two weeks I have cared less about how my house looks. I have about just given up anyways. Logan destroys it all anyway. Okay well if your not cleaning you could at least put away laundry? BIG NO! This is my worse chore. I absolutely hate laundry. I can wash and dry laundry all day long. Umm if I remember to dry it. I usually forget the washer has even stopped and end up having to wash them over and over again. The bright side, at least our clothes are clean :-) And instead of putting up the clothes when they are straight out of the dryer I think to myself, I will do it later. I would rather blog right now. Yeah right! That does not happen either. So I have a pile at the back of my couch in the corner of a huge pile of CLEAN clothes that need to be folded and put up. Probably thrown back in the dryer to de-wrinkle because I DO NOT IRON! But the whole process would start all over again. Dryer to the floor to wrinkled and repeat. Yes I will get up off my butt and get off this computer and do it. I just do not know when.
The pile that begs for attention. Its behind the couch, I can not see it so therefore the attention begging does not work on me!
Do any of you hate laundry as much as I do?

Please feel free to link up as well and look around!

  3. ha! it's not just me! I think cleaning my house is a lost cause. I just had a baby, so that's my excuse, and the last few months of this pregnancy, I couldn't reach the floor to clean it. Now, when I do get it clean, my 21 month old is like...hey, look at that clean part of the floor. Gee, thanks mom. i will put these toys there now! I am pretty sure the only reason for cleaning is to make space for her toys!

Thanks for stopping by from the hop. Returning your follow.

  4. Make sure everyone helps. Otherwise, they just take you for granted! Toddlers start with picking up their toys. My son used to put his behind the couch. He used to watch a silly program where this Raggedy Ann looking girl put all the toys in the couch to teach the kids to clean up! Ha! Like that worked! :D But seriously, as they grow bigger, they are able to help more. My boy is now 15 and he is a big helper with nightly washing up the pots and pans. Everyone folds clothes. I hate house work, so that's how I deal with it. In the end, everyone will appreciate what you do do and the kids will be able to look after themselves once they leave home. Take care!

I have a Wordless Wednesday hop and a Saturday blog hop over at my parenting blog at
